Twilights

During the 2025 - 26 academic year Durrington Research School will be offering nine online professional development twilight programmes. The topics have been chosen based on what teachers and school leaders have requested most often when engaging with us over the past few years. Other than secondary science and secondary reading, each of the programmes are designed to be cross-phase and suitable for teachers of all age groups.

The twilight programmes are open to all, each programme will run from 3:30pm-5pm, fitting into a 6–8week block of three 90-minute online sessions. For West Sussex schools we are offering a special promotion this year with a discounted cost of £150 per twilight (normal rate £200), plus a second twilight topic free of charge. Bespoke Support

As a research school we are always happy to provide bespoke support and training to individual schools or trusts depending on their needs. We can cover a range of topics from designing effective professional development to improving questioning in the classroom.
