NEW: NPQ Funding Spring 2025

NPQ Funding Spring 2025

We are pleased to announce that there will be a second cohort of NPQs for this academic year and they will commence in Spring 2025.  

Scholarship funding will be available to teachers from publicly funded schools and 16-19 educational organisations in the following NPQs:  

• NPQLPM- Leading Primary Mathematics  
• NPQSEN – NPQ for those leading on SEND** 
• NPQH - Headship  
• NPQLTD – Leading Teacher Development (only for Lead Mentors working with an accredited ITT provider in 24-25) 

For all other NPQs, scholarship funding to cover the full NPQ course cost will be available to selected schools with the following criteria:  

• The 50% of schools with the highest proportion of students who attract pupil premium funding. (The headteacher will have been contacted by email by GLF TSH if their school is eligible) 
• 16-19 educational settings identified as having a high disadvantage  
• Early Years settings that meet the highly disadvantaged criteria (this is relevant for the Early Years Leadership NPQ only) 

In addition, funding is also available for:  

• The Early Headship Coaching Offer, if you are in the first 5 years of headship; those heads will also need to be doing, or have done, the Headship NPQ  

We are planning on working with the same two providers as the Autumn cohort; BPN (Best Practice Network) and Teach First.

For schools who are not eligible for funded places on all programmes, applications are still welcome however there will be a cost associated, as follows:
